How is the service organized?

Here is how a worship service typically unfolds:

Length of Worship Service: One hour

Location of the Worship Service: Church Sanctuary

A Warm Welcome: We kick things off with a friendly welcome and announcements about our community.

Shared Prayer: We spend time together to pray for each other, sharing burdens and blessings.

Meditation: In quiet reflection.

Songs of Praise: The hymns accompanied by the pianist and choir are a wonderful way to express our joy and open our hearts in praise.

Connecting/Passing of the Peace: There is a special time set aside to meet and connect with fellow worshippers during the Passing of the Peace greeting.

Scripture Readings: We explore passages from the Bible pertaining to the sermon.

Inspiring Sermon/Message: Our pastor will share a sermon designed to encourage and uplift you.

Generosity in Action: Time for offering collection, which supports our church's missions. Please know that contributing is entirely optional and always appreciated.

Benediction: The service concludes with a benediction, sending you off with peace and purpose.

Fellowship in Westminster Hall: Following the service, there is informal fellowship time. Refreshments including tea, coffee, and light snacks are served, providing a pleasant space to connect and build community.

Who can Celebrate Communion?

We joyfully celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month. This sacrament symbolizes the self-giving love of Jesus Christ and unites believers. It involves the sharing of bread and wine (or grape juice) as a symbolic representation of Christ's body and blood, offering an opportunity to remember Jesus' sacrifice, give thanks, and experience spiritual nourishment together. We believe that Jesus invites everyone to his table, without exception. This means all are welcome to partake in the Lord’s Supper and receive Communion, regardless of age, background, or where you are on your faith journey. For young children, we advise some explanation: that we want to be closer to God and that remembering the teaching and brave life of Jesus helps us do that.
